Leijonamieli & Putkimiehet

Finnish artist Leijonamieli will bring his friends Putkimiehet with him to the concert. Leijonamieli has already second career as a rap artist: he was known as a member of rap group Flegmaatikot, but now he has become older and somehow wiser with his songs. Leijonamieli released an album called 'Lauluja sadepäivän varalle' (Songs for reserve in the case of rainy day) and songs are filled with real instruments and style could be something like reggae, funk and jazz rhythms as well as more conventional rap.

Blackchaplin

Blackchaplin is a rising Finnish band from Helsinki. Their music can be considered avant-garde rock with influences from bands like Joy Division and Sonic Youth. In the concerts the band perform often involve up to 10 members; the atmosphere builds up to something that could be described as a mix of beauty, artistic expression and chaos. The songs are catchy and hypnotic and the musicians are deeply devoted to their music. Tone in the concert is ethereal, but it's easy to join the feeling.

Soma

Finnish sung indie-pop. Soma dares to do things differently in their music, fascinating both indie fans and those who like conventional Finnish rock. Way of composing is a keyword for this band: they use quite many string instruments and the lyrics in the songs (sorry, only in Finnish) take a view which is not very traditional in the pop music. In Finland Soma has been compared to Mercury Rew, Kent and Coldplay. Songs can sound depressed, but there's still some light.

Stand-up comedians

Sami Hedberg

He's senseless crazy! He won Finnish Get Up Stand Up competition, and after this he has been doing gigs more than anyone in Europe. Sami is described as a child of nature with expressive appearance, gestures, sounds, imitation, songs and he combines all these factors into one energetic package, which is decorated with improvisation. His style of speech is cheerful and definitely fun.
